our first order of business, the reason we planned the trip in the first place, was the Terracotta Army exhibition at Vapriikki. they had some twenty soldiers and a dozen animals etc., from the actual site! (hard to photograph, though)
before we had lunch (which i neglected to photograph again) and took the train back home we walked through Hämeenpuisto, a long boulevard type of park ending in a massive fountain/sculpture. on the way was also a sculpture of Minna Canth, who we are actually distantly related to!
homeland tourism is pretty cool. should do more of it!
